Does anybody know if the elderly bloke knocked over at the end of Joe Mercer way tonight after the game is O.K and if the driver was caught?. Knocked him a good 10ft across the road and raced away.

How about the old guy being resuscitated on the floor of the metro station at the stadium . It really didn't look good . Hope the old fella is ok

I wasn't aware of the Metrolink incident hope he is O.K as well. Incidents like these do put the result in to perspective though.

There were some very angry fans leaving tonight. One idiot nearly caught me in the car park in his rush to leave. Unfortunately for him I had my car keys in my hand as I caught his bonnet.

The driver of the car is a right ****, couldn't wait for the stewards to stop the flow so just mowed down a few pedestrians... Shame he managed to get away before the rest could catch up with him. Hope the fella is ok.

It was chaos there tonight. When we crossed, there was people streaming across whilst cars were on the walkway. Heard a bit of a thud, which sounded like someone kicking a car.

Next thing the driver got out and after a few verbals, there was people brawling over the bonnet.

Not sure who was right or wrong, but not very pleasant.

Not unexpected, stewards on that crossing are just kids, badly managed, I mean badly. Sadly supporters are shockingly impatient.
Apparently the driver and his car, came under some grief !
Hope the gentleman concerned is ok.

I had the perfect antidote to carpark woes last night. Walk across to Asda! Only made worse, though, as the bastards didn't have the three for £10 Lindt Orange they were advertising. At least yer don't get hurled into the air, 'cos no fucker is moving at that end of the ground.

If its the same incident as the one I glimpsed the driver if caught is screwed. He nearly hit one of the coppers that stand in the road outside the away end as he tried to make his getaway. Not surprising you see incidents like this nearly every game. Think the whole crowd dispersal at the end of games needs looking into and may even help stop people leaving early.

You're right, its a wonder nobody has been hit by a bus/car on Ashton New Road, I don't know why its not just closed for 30 minutes after full time, all the way down to Every Street, especially now we have 54000 exiting the ground, will get worse when the North Stand is built.

(Though it was much quieter last night than normal.)

It was a scary incident. There was a commotion in front of a car on the crossing, not sure what had happened at this point. Then the driver just put his foot down swerved into pedestrians crossing and hit somebody then sped off. Disgraceful. Some guys chased the car but couldn't keep up. Just hope somebody got his reg because somebody needs a word with the driver. Hope the guy that was hit is ok. The driver should be very ashamed of himself. He could hit a child next time. Hope they catch up with him.

Am guessing the knob head that hit the gent then sped off had had a few sherbets hence his hasty retreat, sadly if this is true and they do find the driver this can never be proven.

Probably went to the local kebab shop to eat something to sober up incase he got caught..
