Eliaquim Mangala

If he doesn't fancy WBA i can't see him fancying Palace, despite having some very decent players and nowhere near the worst team in the league they'll be in big trouble this year. Plus if Mangala goes it all but confirms the nightmare scenario of us actually signing Jonny fucking Evans. Sign Sanchez, Arsenal bring in Evans, we keep Mangala and we sign a left back out of nowhere. That's the ideal deadline day for us.
West Bromwich or London?

Pep is a great coach but Mangala is unworkable and he certainly did look out of place in preseason.

Stop worrying about money. Oxlade Chamberlain with 1 yr on his contract just went for £40m. Coutinho is going for £120+m
Exactly. His post was a load of bollocks.

I literally can't believe we are contemplating shipping him out and then buying Evans. If Pep is such a great coach, coach him to be a decent fill-in! He played him all pre-season and he didn't look out of place. Yes, he doesn't have world class touch and will never be mistaken for David Silva, but the notion that even a back-up defender has to have world class touch is ridiculous.

City are literally spending hundreds of millions shuffling players through the squad because Pep wants every single player to be the finished article when they show up. He appears to believe his job is just showing them how to enact his tactics. Seriously, the money being spent at this point is obscene!

Sanchez and Evans for £100M on deadline day? Absolute bollocks and only plays into the hands of fans complaining they are being priced out by £50 for a ticket!

I don't think you should take too much from his pre season form. None of of our pre season opponents will have identified him as a weak link in our defence and formulated a game plan to put him under pressure. Its all been very low intensity stuff. Pre season doesn't really test his confidence, or lack of.

The Italian club probably got in Mangala head and he probably refuse to go palace! Hold tight Mangala City are a soft touch we will get you on loan and paying only half you wages.

Hmmmm...£30M, £50M, £35M, £50M, £35M and £30M! Chump change, I guess?! And, you forgot young Sterling at £50M!

All internationals already, and we certainly paid for them as if they were the finished article! Not exactly "up and comers" are they???

As for Ox and Coutinho, I couldn't give a toss, because the point stands.

The above players are closing in on £300M, and that's before the £10Ms spent on the likes of Morena.

Ornstein reports is to let's say it's true. Or it's putting pressure on Inter. :) Fuck's sake, how I wish Italian teams just didn't exist in the transfer window. It is completely understandable that Mangala wants Inter with Spalletti instead of the shambles of Crystal Palace with De Boer currently, or Pulis' WBA, and of course there is a much bigger chance to achieve something in Europe - for starters, Inter are in there. But 23m would help us quite a lot.
