Embedded spam in links on here??

Nearly every time I sign on to Bluemoon, I am redirected to this website:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.blackpeoplemeet.com/sign_up_free/index.cfm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.blackpeoplemeet.com/sign_up_free/index.cfm</a>

So, which tosser embedded one of his links with this crap? Nothing against anyone who is interested in meeting black people, but embedding spam into that infect computers is not cricket, is it?

IF anyone knows how to get rid, I would certainly appreciate it. It gets right through my pop-up blocker, which is really pissing me off!! ONLY Happens on the Bluemoon website.

I have also had the pleasure of audio playing while I am on this site. Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers!

it doesn't happen to me mate .. sounds like you have a nasty on your PC .

Yep! But I think I got it from a link on here, as I usually only use this computer for work on a couple of secure networks, which is why it is pissing me off so much!

Thanks for the feedback, citizen.

NO, unfortunately, which is ALSO pissing me off!

DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK, JUST IN CASE!!!

<a class="postlink" href="http://localpages.com/index-new.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://localpages.com/index-new.html</a>

This link is the one I was sent to when I clicked back on Bluemoon to reply to you! Have a buddy who is a MAC expert, so will see if he can track it down and kill it!

are you using internet explorer or firefox mate , i had a similar problem with internet explorer on another website , i changed to firefox an it works fine now ..

Seems it is affecting message boards from looking at this, and may be caused by some dodgy ads. Firefox with Adblock Plus could be an answer.

no i don`t have a problem either must be your pc m8

Yeah, I had similar problems. But it was random, if you clicked a link on any website, suddenly it'd take you to some other side. It was a load of Adware all over my PC. Got a new one and put Bullguard on it. No problems since.

I get simular when i log on also. Meetsingles.com or something simular. Only happened in the last week or so.

I had a pm exchange with Ric about this yesterday. It happens to me as well. In fact, it isn't just redirects either, it's ads that I'd rather didn't appear (and one of them has audio - Adult Friend Finder - , which has already caused me a problem...don't come on BM with your volume turned up and little ones around...or at work!!!!! ;-)). It's nothing to do with spyware / malware or anything as Ric suggested I try STOPZILLA and my laptop and pc are both clean. I only get redirected on BM, and the dodgy ads (sex, swingers etc) only appear on BM as well. It started about a week ago I think, and it happens with both my laptop and pc.

It might be just US-based blues that are affected by this. Wherever the ads are originating the ones I see are certainly directed at those who deal in $, and a couple of them are obviously designed to note and adjust to the ip address, i.e. "Meet someone in Raleigh tonight".

I'd love to know if any other US-based blues are being redirected and so on.

Just reading the thread about Robbie when I was redirected here:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.blinkx.com/category/news?adid=02-100-201-300-404&ref=B06D0B1E-5979-450D-8738-319FC58B566A&p=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.blinkx.com/category/news?adi ... 8B566A&p=1</a>

This is one of those that won't let you go back so I had to open up a new window and go back to BM.

I got the same link happening to me when I go to reply in off topic dude! Also I start hearing like damn adds whenever I'm on here don't see them just hear them. I've had to up the pop-up blocker! Also ... had a damn adult friend finder voice on pop up ... nearly pissed myself because there was someone near me! ...at first I thought those damn porn sites had got to me lmoa! :D :D :D :D

Had it happen a couple of times, Brucie. But not all the time.

And if you meet someone in Raleigh tonight, take them to Chapel Hill...it's much more fun! ;)

Just got rediretced to yellow.com as I was about to post to the caption comp, wouldn't let me go back, so I had to close and reopen, as I was typing this (originally), got redirected to that blinx site thingie, couldn't go back, close, and re-open then have to find my way back here and my pop-up blocker is going wild... :-(. The redirects are a bit much.
