Emotional music from a film

Not a movie, but these two pieces from the Leftovers are incredible. Max Richter is phenomenal.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but the song means so much to me and my family.
Both my girls are adopted. We saw our eldest for the first time in midweek, and watched The Jazz Singer over the weekend. The following Wednesday, we took her home from the foster parent. The first song on the radio was Hello Again!
When my wife died, we sat down to choose the music for her funeral. My eldest, now 28, immediately said "Hello Again" as the entrance music. There were no objections.
On a very good day, I can listen to the song without a tear in my eye.

Nice post mate and nice song.
Continuing on the ND theme he did this beautiful song on the film Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Dear Father.

My wife's favourite album.
She was originally a Monkees fan, and became a ND fan when she found out that he wrote "I'm a believer".
Fittingly, on the plinth of her grave, are the words "I thought love was only true in fairy tales".
