Who else feels that last night was the final chapter of the story written by Mancini's core squad ?
To me, it definitely has that feeling.
End of a circle, end of a glorious Era. Many great memories to cherish, but also many grieves to get along with.
Seven seasons, almost a decade, and six trophies ( if you count the Com Shield as one ).
Yet, that rancid taste of underachievement that i can't seem to get rid of.
Time to bid farewell to a bunch of players who are now catching up with their ages.
The likes of Pablo, Kompany and Yaya will be remembered as true City legends, worthy of statues.
It is now the genesis of a new circle, a new Era, that will undoubtedly see Pep performing a major revamp of the team this summer.
