England 15th in new FIFA Rankings

15th is about right.

We are clearly a second ranking side in relationship to countries like Spain, Germany, Colombia, Italy and now, even Brazil who of late have been pretty ordinary.

It obviously dosen't augur well for next years WC FINALS with Brazil expected to be at least as good as they are now, the main countries at, or about, their peak. Not to mention Belgium who now have several players of admirable international pedigree.

All a bit discouraging for poor old Roy Hodgson and England supporters who must be expecting the worst.

Gone is the golden generation (LOL) who numbered Lampard, Beckham and Gerrard. cole is getting no younger and our current squad now is often comprised of several men who are often bench warmers (LOL).

At least we have the 3rd best league in the world after the Bundesliga and La Liga

We are a second rate nation behind Columbia really!
No I would say we have the same talent of players but they just do it better and only recently as well

Should be higher... lost about 2 games in 25.. and one of those were on penaltys.

Technically that went down as a draw, as penalty shoot-outs aren't counted in the FIFA rankings....

...England have lost two matches (both friendlies) in the last 25 games played since February 2011.

Exactly, Since Hodgson has come in the results have been brilliant.

But no matter what. People will just say England are shit.

Also , when was the last time we lost a competitive match in 90mins ?

6 wins 3 draws under Capello, from that table THFC posted. 9 wins, 7 draws, 1 loss under Woy. That would be 2.33 points per game under Capello, and 2 points per game under Woy.

Plus England are in danger for not qualifying for the World Cup, while Capello had us at least comfortably qualifying. Serious managerial downgrade imo.

Yes but he dropped Beckham the God and lost to Germany because of a dodgy linesman and Gareth Barry so he had to be sacked for an Englishman that is far out of his depth its like throwing a newborn child in the deep end of a volcano

Placing us behind Columbia, Greece and Bosnia is taking the piss a bit. I'd honestly we should be about 10th based on our recent results.

I agree that England being below Greece and Bosnia is odd, but Colombia are a fine side and could qualify top of the CONMEBOL standings, above Argentina.
