Fixtures are Lithuania in a qualifier and Italy in a friendly.

Apparently Hodgson isn't going to call up any Liverpool players or something, from The Express:

The England coach names his squad tomorrow for the Euro 2016 qualifier with Lithuania at Wembley on March 27 and the friendly with Italy in Turin four days later.

Hodgson is likely to release some members of his squad for the Italy game and must assess Anfield starlet Raheem Sterling, who is carrying a knock, before finalising his initial party.

Any favouritism to Liverpool could anger their Premier League rivals given how tight the chase for the top four is.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane will be handed a senior call-up.

I bet Smalling and Jones will bed called up and get game time.

For me England's best defence at the moment is Hart, Clyne, Cahill, Stones and either of Baines or Shaw.

How the fuck do the following get anywhere near the squad:
Gibbs, Jones, Shaw, Smalling, Walker, Carrick, Henderson, Townsend and Walcott. Are they the best players we have in those positions!!

Hodgson has called Kane up. Why? He's neither a dipper or a rag.

He's the flavour of the month and despite obviously not being good enough to play consistently for England, he understands that picking him will create less of a stir than not picking him.

Also it benefits Liverpool.

If I was Spurs I'd withdraw him and make an official complaint to the FA

He's got his favourites, has our Woy. Once again it's a squad assembled solely on the club they represent and nothing to do with ability. Kyle Walker? Really? You could find better non-league defenders than him.

I definitely agree with this, Smalling, Jones and Delph should be nowhere near international level.

Where is Stones? He has been great this season at times, even if Everton have had a poor league campaign.

Well Walcott is still a very good and useful player and Carrick is probably our best passer of the ball at the moment. Henderson is another certainty.

I thin Bertrand has been the best English left back in the league. Apart from Clyne we really don't have any other decent right backs. Bit biased, but think Dann should be in. Has been better than either Smalling or Jones. Add Stones in too, but maybe his fitness is not great. Ashley Young deserves a place too.

Overall would put Bertrand, Dann, Stones, Young, Shawcross in and take out Gibbs, Shaw, Smalling, Jones and Townsend.

Walcott has returned from injury and done sweet FA. Carrick is so slow he makes Yaya look turbo charged and I could make those sideways passes he makes. Henderson I just don't get what he does as a footballer other than run around aimlessly waving his arms at refs and scores worldies against us. No argument with Clyne, Bertrand or Stones but you are fishing with Ashley Young, Shawcross and Dann.

Hodgsons reasons for not picking, Stones, Bertrand and every other in form Englisg player is fucking insane. Its SVG closed club no matter what form you in all over again. We aint even good enough to be turning down bang in form players
