England squad for friendly v Holland

That's a pretty good squad. Just missing Lescott instead of Cahil and Oxlaide-Chamberlain instead of Theo.

It's a friendly. I think friendlies are supposed to be for young players Also considering how fragile he is, he will probably get injured anyway.
 
Whilst it's good that they have picked young players for this match, I don't think Smalling & Jones should be paired at CB together.

I'd like to see Richards at CB but it wont happen so I reckon....

"Zidane" Cleverley doubt against Holland

Blow for England with United star Cleverley feared crocked again

Fears are growing that Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has been dealt a crushing blow and been ruled out of England's friendly with Holland.
The 22-year-old, who has been sent for scans, had been expected to earn his first cap after being called into Stuart Pearce's squad for the match at Wembley on Wednesday.
However, Cleverley suffered an injury setback in United's Europa League defeat to Ajax at Old Trafford on Thursday night and is now not expected to join the squad.
