Maybe ha.
Look at the squad properly though, pretty poor defence, average at best midfield and half decent forwards.
The squad isn't as good as people seem to think.
We could choose two players from the best team in England in the defence, midfield and forward line.

shocking shocking shocking
Foden was so isolated. He was the only bright thing before sub came on.
Grealish was good - especially his composure on the ball when receiving it in the very deep area and releasing the pressure made the ball able to go up.

the problem is .... other plays did not pass the ball to them as much as it should be!!!

You wouldn’t mind the result so much if we actually played decent and we were just unlucky but we were absolutely garbage and have been now for a few games

There seem to be any tactics are plan or anything coming from the management.

Foden showed flashes of quality, nothing spectacular but way better than most around him, Grealish was decent too for the time he was on.

I thought Bellingham was okay too, Showed a bit of inexperience still, getting caught out a few times, but at least he was trying to make things happen and driving forward in a team where playing with intent seems to be forgotten about by the coaching staff.

Kane was a bit greedy at times but I don’t blame him in a way, I think he was getting desperate because we create absolutely nothing for him really. He is a very good centre forward and his goal record shows that season after season, but we can’t even create decent chances for him now anyway.

I know quite a bit about Southgate because I always kept an eye on Middlesbrough because some of my family are Middlesbrough fans and from that area and he was useless managing them. he played not to lose instead of playing to win and that got them relegated….and that’s essentially his mindset with England.

Wherever you think of Southgate as a manager and I personally don’t think much, you can’t hide from the fact in the two tournaments he’s been in charge, we’ve reached a semi and a final. Nobody gets sacked for defeats in friendlies ( Nations League ) so if you want him gone I’m afraid you’ll have to hope his luck runs out in Qatar.
