Penalties jinx is over.

Steady on, let's see what happens in the World Cup first.

We can get Brazil in the quarters I think, can you imagine knocking them out on penalties??

Am still trying to imagine a World Cup in Brazil that FIFA don't ensure that Brazil win.

Just proves that there very good players in this country.

The problem is introducing them into the first team.

The Premiership is far too cut throat to do it. It's hard for managers to bring through young players because, if a team loses a few games in a row, the manager often gets the sack! Young players won't be world class straight away, they need time, and managers simply aren't afford that time in the Premiership.

If more teams had a stable manager, more young players would come through - I'm sure of it.

It's not just managers it's fans as well. How often on here do you hear people say give a youngster a try. It's a case of sign Johnny foreigner everytime. There's far too many foreign players now in England and far.too many are average.

That is why the FA and City are in favour of a B team to help younger English kids develop.

Can you imagine the meltdown if Brazil don't win - the half of the population not presently protesting against the World Cup would join the other half of the population who already are.... If you catch my drift.
