I know plenty are unavailable from club commitments etc and this is the game for peripheral figures to impressive that impacts todays lineup but southgates desire to put TAA in midfield in an effort to be seen as some kind of football visionary is going to backfire on him to a laughable degree if he genuinely considers playing him in midfield against anybody remotely competent.
He hasn't got a clue how to play in midfield, there's a reason klopp doesn't actually play him in there. At least it's made tonight's game worth watching.
Wasn't going to bother, I have no desire to watch Southgate led team if there's nothing at stake but at least now there's an opportunity to just watch TAA in midfield and see exactly how bad he is from a tactical/positional standpoint.
