He’s been extremely lucky.
The media all harp on about how good his record is but the truth is that all the international big boys are the poorest for about 10 years plus.
Spain, Germany, Italy, Brazil to name a few are an eternity away from what they once were.

What a thoroughly pointless waste of time that was. Played on the back foot as we always do against even semi-competent opposition instead of imposing ourselves as the team with superior players, no cohesion, no game plan.
