I think she made a great point. We should have had a back up taker because Lloris knows him so well.

Can you imagine the reaction if we took our best penalty taker off the penalty because he’s playing against his team mate, and the player that took it missed?

Can imagine it’s a nightmare second guessing yourself taking a second pen against the same keeper. Do you go the same way? Or go the other way thinking the keeper won’t think you’re going the same way?

An all time penalty record is also incomparable against a record based on one game. He’s a great penalty taker, he missed one today. It’s a bastard to take but it happens

Tell you what, for me the biggest con in the squad is declan rice. 6/10 player

From the way that Rice plays it is difficult to discern what his role is supposed to be. I still don’t know.

Things I’m happy about:
All City players other than Alvarez get a nice two week mid season break from games, ready and firing for the second 2/3rds of the season.

Things I’m sad about:
No proper football to watch for two weeks.

As I said last week, England losing doesn’t register anywhere near as much as a defeat to Liverpool would.

I think she's actually supposed to be quite intelligent and has a law degree. she's either just completely clueless about football or is so crippling shit infront of a camera to the point where she just chats shit. Either way, she shouldn't be anywhere near a punditry role, but there again, you can say similar about most of them.
