You're all misdirecting your anger though, it's Gerrard who should be nowhere near the pitch. He can't handle these conditions at all. There was a period then when he was literally standing there, still, hands on knees, whilst the ball was in play. Shocking.

For someone in his position you need much much more. It is vital you have vision and movement or at least industry.
He has shown non of those qualities bar 1 long cross.

I'd be amazed if he's even offered that much. I wouldn't play him a second longer in this WC unless the players are going to have a mental breakdown without him there.
