Absolutely bang on. I am a FA referee and Frankly I am disgusted at how shite ourgrassroots football is compared to the rest of Europe. I am about to referee in spain this summer and I have refereed in Germany and I have watched grass roots football in Spain and they are miles ahead because the FAs and the governments are pumping large amounts of money into grass roots sport and top quality coaches. England are a fucking Joke.

I can think of a lot better things for the spanish government to be putting their money.

Italy didn't get out of second gear because they didn't have to. They took their chances and then conserved energy and let England beat themselves with shit crosses, passes and shit Rooney. They were comfortable winners.

How many crosses went out in the final third when we were pressing in the 2nd half?
Youngsters came out with heads held high, Rooney was poor, for a so called Workd Class Player, he looked out of his depth, real shame, as Italy were there for the taking, but at least we went out fighting, let's iron out the issues in training , and hammer Uraguay and Costa Rica !

I honestly think we have a good chance of getting out of the group, though i'd definitely start with barkley ahead of Rooney.

Not as bad as many are saying on here. We created quite a few good chances and there were some decent performances from most of the team. Having said that Glen Johnson is useless and Rooney had a poor game. Gerrard didn't do much either.

Phil Chuckle has got to be the worst commentator ever. He even makes Michael Owen seem good.
