England v Scotland | Euro 2020 Group Stage

Piss poor man management from Southgate last night to sub Foden for Grealish. Fans have wanted to see both players together so for Phil to hear that reaction to Grealish coming on as he comes off is abysmal.

Anyone have any idea what our tactics were last night? When you see Italy, France, Holland, Portugal etc… there is shape, you can visibly see patterns of play.
I think 2 DMs says all you need to know about last night’s tactics.

Thing that gets me is that I've no doubt that Rice and Phillips will end up at 'big 6' clubs for a combined fee of somewhere in the region of One hundred and fifty million quid. Then, I'm not entirely convinced they're much better (if any) than McGinn/McGregor. It's not their fault, market value dictates what happens to them or what they'll eventually move for, but it highlights the difference in market value is way too big compared to their actual abilities.

England have better players in most positions btw, but that's one I think Scotland at least match them in, but the media will never have people believe it.
English players are artificially valued higher than Scottish players.

McGinn is a very good midfield operator........

I'm mad at myself for getting sucked into thinking we were capable of doing well in this tournament. I've been hurt so many times before :(

We still may, but it'll need to be individual brilliance that propels us in because it sure isn't going to be the tacs ffs.
It's the hope that kills you.
