Southgate is a yes man,none of the England players covered themselves in glory bar stones and mings and Pickford,foden when on the ball looked to try and make things happen but Southgate being Southgate he is weak and opts to take the easy option and hook foden,sterling should have gone off,as for rashford for Kane good god Kane has had two poor games but he’s still head and shoulders the best striker option shocking tactics shocking game,but anyhow well done Scotland..

Just lethargic all round. No pressing, no options for the player on the ball, no attacking patterns, easy to defend against. There was almost never more than one option for the player on the ball. In the World Cup half of our goals came from set pieces. Expect to see Trippier back in the team next time, if only for that reason.

City players always the scapegoats. Take of the best player because he is an easy option.
