He offers something defensively though, Sterling doesn't.
We must have been watching different Sterlings and Allis this year then.

The fear is he'll be ruined by gobshites in the media who concentrate their vitriol for a 21 year old lad and leave the rest alone as has been proven over the last two games.
Utter shite, but no surprise as most of what you've posted has been.He offers something defensively though, Sterling doesn't.
Shirley Surely?Lloyd George, Aneurin Bevin, Ivor Emmanuel, Catherine Jenkins, Joe Calzaghi, Cliff Jones, your boys took one helluva beating!
I think you have forgotten just how good Bale was when he left Spurs for Real madrid. It was a thrill watching him play even as a neutral. You must not have been watching him in the champions league semis and final
He was one of the standout players in the last couple of warm up games before the competition so was definitely worthy of his place - though tbh I wish he was nowhere near the squad to save him being ruined by the various media, supporters and bandwagon jumpers who are seemingly willing for him to fail.Agree to an extent that he gets singled out a bit. But for me, based on his form for the past half season he shouldn't be in that England starting 11. He needs a bit of protection from his gaffers as well, if he's struggling for form and confidence being in the limelight to be scrutinised more is only going to go one way.
