He was very good. My worry with him is his defending. That aspect of his game will come under the microscope when we play a better team than Wales.

Absolutely, I think that will be the case with all the back line too, but Rose and Walker play so far forwards it could potentially cause problems. I think Smalling is the only one who I trust at the back but he's not exactly the best either

I'm not just England bashing though. We've been piss poor against two truly dreadful teams. I'm going to state the obvious, but the likes of Germany, Spain and even a "shit" Italy side would just pass this England team to death. If City played like England did tonight we'd rightly be fearing the worst. We were terrible.

There's no clear favorite to win it all this year in the Euro's; all teams have flaws. England are, IMO, one of the top 4 teams in the tourney and can easily win it all.

Curiously, played much better against Russia (especially in the first half) than against Wales... but drew against the former and won against the later. Still, 4 points from the matches thus played seems about right.

Sturridge should start from here on out - he honestly reminded me of Aguero when he scored. He looked to find someone good to play a quick one-two with, and then took apart the Wales defense with some incredible tight ball control.

Mancini had it right - we should never, ever have sold him.

Fact: I think England are one of the top 4 sides in the tournament.

Fact: England played lights out against Russia in the first half and deserved to win that game.

Fact: England struggled to break down Wales.
