Enough is enough

The level of negativity in the media about our club makes me wonder why anyone without family/friends influence would decide to be a City fan these days.

that's whole point because eventually we are going places and anything they can do to stall it they will do, stand tall, stand proud and never give in to the scum

We need a big character in charge who cares about the club, will speak up for us and communicate with the fans on a regular basis.

Does Soriano actually fucking exist?!
Soriano, he has produced brilliant results year in year out ?,he's not the media guy, he's in charge of the money side of things, and I personally think he's the best in the world at it, just look at our results, unless i don't know what I'm talking about :)

The headline on the BBC Football site at the moment is a disgrace.

It's says "I might not be good enough: Guardiola"

They took what he said completely and knowingly out of context.

The GPC would have banned them for that but we roll out the red carpet and give them all the hospitality they need.

The people who run our club must live in a bubble and read nowt in the media. But these constant negative stories might just get some of us fans out of our slumber.

City PR Department ........

We are soft touch all through our club when you get bullied you will keep getting bullied to you stand up for yourself.

It is seriously getting me down the constant negative media witchhunt and the idiots that fall for it. I have probably watched city live about 800 times and I had some twat at work in his 50s who has been to old Trafford less than ten times in his life talking about how empty it will be against spurs. It is simply boring.

See the "keep completely quiet until Pep arrives and then the press will be eating out of our hands" strategy has been an absolute clusterfuck then! The press we've had this season has probably been the worst we've had since the takeover.

We had the opportunity to create a narrative with the press of being the jack the lad club that done good. The lovable losers who ended up winning. The underdog who took on the big boys and won. The Trotters Independent Trailblazers. We could have been the example to every club that no matter how bad it gets, there's always hope. There's always the chance of a miracle. We could still have been everyone's second team. The friendly, self-depricating, family club.

Instead we're the mercenary upstarts. The spoilt brats who can't fill our stadium or bother to sing any songs. The plastic club. The fans who weren't there when we were shit. The highly paid, greedy, underachieving disgrace who is ruining football.

And our club and more specifically the PR department has sat on it's fucking arse and let it happen. Played radio silent. Arrogantly thinking we'll adopt a hostile approach to the press. Give them absolutely fuck all. Treat them with disdain and wait for them to fawn over us when Guardiola becomes manager because he's the biggest show in town.

It's been an absolute fucking omnishambles and unfortunately the damage to our reputation is going to take a generation to fix. The PR strategy the club has taken since Gary Cook left has been an absolute and utter fucking disgrace and I'm sick of reading negative story after negative story about the club I love while no one that works there does a fucking thing about it.

Every other week there's a fucking negative story about our attendances. It would be very simple for the club to brief the press that in fact we're currently averaging more than Liverpool have in their entire history. But instead they sit on their arse with their finger on their lips and say fuck all.

It's not worked and they need a clean sweep of the PR department and get some professionals in who know what they're doing and start repairing the reputation that has been so severely damaged.
1) Win some games
2) Our press conferences don't help. Hard to look credible after a defeat but even so, it's like watching a rabbit in the headlights

Correct Soriano has turned us into a big player off the pitch undoubtedly our best signing since the takeover ( non player wise )
What he has done with our financial turnover is very impressive to say the least, and continues to grow us further.

This media witch-hunt is getting us all down its virtually every day when they have a dig at us, I would like the club to address it asap, we don't court the media like the rags do maybe we might have to start to do the same to get some favorable press, are pr department does seem a very poorly run part of the club they need to up are game.

Absolutely spot on with every single point re the RagDipperArseHaringeyMeedya, but what was ever so slightly underestimated was the angle at which their respective noses would have been put out of joint. It is this that has increased the opprobrium and created the deluge of negativity in virtually every single story to do with MCFC.

It is about time that some of these people were shown the bus stop on Ashton Road and told to fuck off and not come back until they had developed some manners.
