Tbh it’s inevitable that they are going to significantly improve their midfield in the near future, so as long as we get Bellingham I can kind of live with whoever they sign. At least we’d have our guy.

Benfica will want the release clause and i cant see the dippers doing 120m? They have severely fucked up with their sales as Keita i believe is out of contract in the summer, same with Ox Chamberlain, Milner is 137 and they gave Henderson a new contract? Plus they have Jones and Elliot there?

Bellingham isn’t going to Liverpool. Tbh Fernandez didn’t really stand out to me but what he did do was the simple things really well. Definitely an option as gundos replacement

He strikes me as a player who could easily adapt to being an '8'. Look at his goal against Mexico!

He wasn't really, he played in a double pivot with Bender as the more attacking of the two.

Enzo is not a defensive midfilder. Yes... he has been playing in that position for his nation but his real position is CM. Thats also proves why he is so good. Playing as a second midfilder he has more freedom to show how skillfull and complete he is. Only at Benfica and River .

nah bellinghm is overrated. Enzo has more to his game he can play both in bernardo's or KDB's position even in Rodri's if needed. bellingham is a very basic midfielder compared to him. definitely not better than enzo
