Enzo Fernandez

Benfica with Enzo were excellent in the champions league.Enzo was top class with River and Argentina.Bellingham is a great player but a lot different to Enzo.I would say it will depend on the team and style of play where one or the other can be most effective.Bellingham is clearly one who thrives in high tempo football whilst Enzo is a classical Argentina midfielder with more creativity.

He's fucked playing for us then, lol!

I think the transfer fee is ridiculous. I think he’s a good player, but he’s unproven at the top level. They’re paying 110m for potential.

Clubs seem incapable of spotting players beforehand ie benfica getting him for 10m.

If he’s 110m what does that make someone like Rodri? 160m?
Everyone was well aware of this lad. The very first post in this thread is a link to us.

Benfica are just incredibly attractive for most south american clubs. Benfica are happy to give sell on percentages, offer immediate starting positions and they are positioned well for culture and language fit etc.

In his first 2 windows Boehly has bought 16 players, loaned 2 more for a total of €650M
Fernández €120m
Mudryk €100m
W Fofana €80m
Cucurella €70m
Sterling €57m
Badiashile €38m
Koulibaly €38m
Madueke €33m
Gusto €30m
Chukwuemeka €23m
Andrey €14m
Aubameyang €12m
Datro Fofana €12m
João Felix (loan) €11m
Slonina €9m
Zakaria (loan) €3m
Hutchinson free transfer
Sturge free transfer

The previous record for one window was us in 2017 with €250m spent. They've broken that 2 windows in a row.
120 m ? wow no wonder dozen of eggs cost fortune these days.

A true mercenary, Benfica fans will never forgive him for this.
Benfica have made €70 million profit on Enzo so I dont think anyone in Lisbon should be crying.River created Enzo like Julian and sure we dont like losing our wonderful players but thats thanks to our shit economy and our tradition of member only clubs. If you are so angry why dont you start an EU league which would see a much more powerful Benfica.

He was there for six months and was bought to sell on, that’s their business model
They often stay the whole season to at least try to help the team get some titles. Benfica is still on the CL with good perspectives to go through against Brugge to the quarter finals so it's not like his market value would drastically decrease in this second half of the season invalidating the same move to Chelsea, but of course he doesn't care about that, most young players don't nowadays with their money hungry agents always whispering in their ears, but this case is just blatant.

Fid you feel the same when you preyed on River Plate to sign him?

Yep and will be the only club ever who will be allowed to do this! So not only do they get a free pass for spending 600m in two windows they get the advantage of spreading wages over a longer period to ease ffp in the long run! Yep uefa changed the rules now but only to be enforced next window! Just think if that was city the first time we did that they would brought the rule in that no other player was allowed to have a contract that long! Chelsea brought in a full team on long deals! Media genius by Chelsea great window by Chelsea! Personally think chelsea or any club should be allowed to spend what the fcuk they want!

It’s just how we have been treated by the rest of the premier and the media seen our take over that leaves a bitter taste!
The length of the contract won't have much, if any, effect on their wages bud. It's just the transfer fee that gets spread out. In fact with their squad size now their wage bill for this season at least must be atrocious. Surely they must have a fire sale next summer, their academy may well be ripe for the taking as well.

Fuck off you condescending prick..
You think you know better than our club and it's staff...you might know plenty about South American football but don't start lecturing City fans about City
FFS I'm pretty sure plenty of blues on here were match going fans before you were born.
We get you don't rate non South American football players and have a downer on British players but don't presume that you have better knowledge about our club than the vast majority of our fans.
Behave yourself, he's written scouting reports you know.

He comes across as a kid trying to get a Twitter following in the hope to monetise it.

Will Chelsea be able to go on a mad spending spree in the next transfer window ?
If so i can see them offering daft money & contract that other prem clubs linked for Bellingham won't be daft to go to .
Talk about obscene spending by that yank, they are on a par with Psg .

Who cares what Benfica fans think? They had him for 6 month. They are vultures themselves. Go to a River Plate forum and their fans were all upset that Benfica nicked him from them for so little.

I don't see the need to do it anymore. I think the summer's focus will be to secure decent fees for several players to be sold. We could go back in for one more midfielder (Caicedo or Rice?) but keep in mind Nkunku and Gusto are already joining the squad in the summer plus Levi Colwill returning to the team. That's 3 extra players.
