Because he's recovering from surgery, Abidal has the authorization of the imam of his mosque to have a less strict month of ramadan. [sport]

Does Allah restrict this loophole to prior surgery, or would Yaya Toure be able to have a word with his Imam for a lenient Ramadan on the grounds that he's a professional athlete?

Or is all religion just bollocks?

Can you please tell me what the hell the last bit has to do with the question you asked?

I'm atheist. I believe that it's fucking ridiculous that people choose to fast for a few weeks based on a fictional book, but it's even more ridiculous that there are certain loopholes in this. It's made up bollocks in my opinion and I don't want Yaya to be affected by it.

If you disagree, I respect your opinion, I just want to hear different opinions on the topic.

No you don't, you want a row about it. It's called Attention Deficit Disorder. When you grow up it won't affect you as badly.

Well thats got nothing to do with the main question you were asking has it? I think there's been loads of religion bashing threads on here already so you might want to post on there regarding your hatred of religions.....

In fairness its a fair question. people have to stop being so sensitive about everything. I understand why he takes a less strict form of ramadam from a medical point of view but i fail to see it from a religious view.
