That’s what I mean though, even if Spurs enquired, it was never a deal City or John were ever going to agree to. I think we are more than happy to keep Stones.

We don't know what is going on behind the scenes, Stones under contract and wants to play for this club is a far better player than Garcia who wants to leave, yet Pep chooses Garcia first.

It is not a criticism of Pep, his judgement is all that counts.

If he had picked an injured stones over a fit garcia, when we had no other options at that time, i'd have probably questioned his management.

Yes but Keeper said the club were willing to let Stones go, whch if true suggests that Pep doesn't see him playing much. Even worse, that leaves Garcia as back up to Dias if true.

I’ll be honest, I’ve not gone out of my way to find anything which confirms Spurs interest or bid but I’ve not seen anything official apart from a bit of rumour on here.

I'd argue selling Garcia to Barcelona would have disadvantaged them more than us claiming some sort of moral victory.

He's going anyway, now I have to fret before every team sheet comes that he is anywhere near it.
