In many ways Barcelona act like they demand respect, City showed them none which is a good start. The arrogance from them was/is astounding.

It seemed a lot more than a rumour, even quotes from the player saying he turned it down.

I've genuinely searched the above, in good faith, assuming you had seen something i haven't.

So either you need a better understanding of what quotes are, or you are being deliberately selective. Or google isn't whatcit used to be.

For clarity, the daily star saying 'it is understood the player is reluctant to move despite falling down the pecking order ' and 'stones will not leave until the spaniard tells him he is not wanted' do not player quotes make.
