Says absolutely everything about Barca , but is a real concern for City, as Pep might be tempted into playing him if still here. Should be nowhere near the squad imo.

Barca looking for freebies - how the mighty have fallen .

if he goes for free so be it

He wont ever be a top centre half in the prem and with the way Pep plays he is a liability in this league.

Barca must be skint and desperate going for him...surely there are better centre halves out there than Garcia?

City were refusing to let Barca dictate the terms . Barca were not offering what the club felt was the right price and terms and so were told to do without the player.

The money wasn't the important bit, it was to demonstrate that we would not be bullied by Barca or by Garcia refusing a new contract.
