Erling Haaland was on the verge of a double hat trick for City in the Champions League but it fell through at the last minute…

Remember when Negrado tore West Ham apart in the league cup 1st leg, i think we were about 6 up and basically through. Played him in the 2nd leg and got a bad shoulder injury and was never the same player again.

Also, the CL final against Chelsea, in the run up the players were playing on fumes as they had been run into the ground. I think Pep learned a lot from that.

Pep should have left Erling on.

No player has ever scored 6 goals in a CL match.

Erling had a great chance of doing that In the CL.

Somtimes Pep needs to think of the player rather than the squad.

Haaaland may never get that opportunity to score 6 goals again in a CL match.

BTW. I’m not having a go at Pep.
And if Haaland picked up a bad injury at 6-0 no doubt you would be saying wtf was he still doing on the pitch.
