Erling Haaland

The club have, unlike other fans and the media's perception, always had a measured approach to recruitment. Makes you laugh when you hear the likes of Arsenal fans moaning about our spend when they go and pay 84m on Pepe. The club has always seemed to have set limits on what they wish to spend and have drifted away from auctions - we have not been as reckless as PSG or Real Madrid did in the past. That has to be applauded.

Haaland should be the exception and given that we now are starting to see with Palmer and Mcatee capable of following Phil's path it leaves us with several experienced players that could be sacrificed to bring him in - yes we have to balance the books but maybe, just maybe this is the time to buy probably the most in demand player in world football. Age 21 at City with our squad of players - wow, make it happen.

That is a bit of a worry just came back from a injury as well. Hope he isn't injury prone. He has a hip problem as well
Don’t think a shoulder injury would be much of a concern, think his hip injury is a hip flexor injury so just a muscle strain or tear that should heal well if he’s out until next year with his shoulder.

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is currently sidelined with an injury and the player is unhappy with his manager Marco Rose, who forced him to play on against Mainz and Ajax.

The 21-year-old Norwegian striker believes that he wasn’t in a good physical condition to play until the very end in both matches and Rose should have substituted him to protect him from an injury.

Haaland is now expected to miss the remaining fixtures of the Champions League group stages and he said to miss the crunch clash against Bayern Munich as well.

Haaland has scored 13 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season and he has four assists to his name as well.

That is actually a big problem. Do not forget how big he is. He has more forces that act onto his body than the usual strikers.

I would say the world of football thinks we have not a real, but the best chance

I wouldn't say the best, certainly not while he hasn't made a decision.

A real chance, however, which is better than it looked four months back.

I don't consider another club in England viable for him right now.

I like those odds.
