If we pay him and his hangers on enough, he’ll come. If someone offers any of them more then he won’t, simple as that. He probably has a choice of us, rag shit, Chelsea, PSG, Barca or Real. Will we be willing to outpay them? I really hope so.

If he goes abroad, so be it, I’m not arsed. If he ends up with the vermin or chavs then in my opinion we‘ll seriously regret it and should pay what it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I have it on good authority Big Dave Watson is neither Big, nor called Dave Watson. He's not even called Big Watson, or Curly Watson, or Big Curly, or anything like that. He's never even seen a Curly Wurly.

Would that be the same confidence that led us to put all our eggs in the Harry Kane basket last summer? I only hope this confidence is better placed.

Speaking for myself it’s a confidence that comes from looking at our results and league table despite not getting our target last summer that whether we do or don’t fet our target we’ll be okay.
I also have seen nothing really to suggest that Vlahovic is our alternative to Haaland. Wouldn’t be surprised if our alternative is somebody totally different.
