“Knowing his agent” lol We can list several of his players that have stayed a long time at the same club, even fucking Pogba. The player stays for as long as he wants. Someone said “even if he came, in three years he would move to Spain”. Let’s play a hypothesis here: in this “three years” he wins two league titles and one UCL (at least), while scoring a shitload of goals and winning individual titles. Do you really think he would be leaving that automatically?

Speaking for myself it’s a confidence that comes from looking at our results and league table despite not getting our target last summer that whether we do or don’t fet our target we’ll be okay.
I also have seen nothing really to suggest that Vlahovic is our alternative to Haaland. Wouldn’t be surprised if our alternative is somebody totally different.

If we pay him and his hangers on enough, he’ll come. If someone offers any of them more then he won’t, simple as that. He probably has a choice of us, rag shit, Chelsea, PSG, Barca or Real. Will we be willing to outpay them? I really hope so.

If the player wants to stay, he stays. Just look at Verratti, he could have made the agent more money with a move but because he’s been happy at PSG he hasn’t had any bother.

I don't think he is going to be 10 years at a club guy.
A reasonable understanding between Erling and Raiola and everyone involved is min 11 more years of Haaland career goes 5 years one club 6 years another club. From the age of 21 to 32.

If I were City I would try my level best right now to get him else get someone else quick and Haaland 2026!

I'm not convinced this will happen. Once Madrid or Barca come calling its difficult to tempt a player when their heart is set on it. Providing Madrid can afford him I imagine he will go there, even though I believe City is as good a team as any to join in world football right now. If we get him fantastic, but it's more in hope than expectation.

I have absolute faith in City getting the right man whoever it is though. Its very rare we get a transfer wrong and whilst we may delay it a year sometimes (like Rodri and Dias) we get it right in the end. Pep will find a way whoever we get.
