I don’t have a problem with players showing appreciation for other players. Yesterday someone found a tweet from him in 2014 when Bayern and Real Madrid player a UCL semifinal (curiously Pep and Carlo as managers too lol) and he tweeted “Hala Madrid!”, even that I forgive. But the context of it precisely being his former club is what bothers me. Would everyone be okay if Sterling kept liking content about Liverpool? I actually think the more he can leave Villa behind the better for his career. He can go back to being their fan in a decade when he retiresHe was openly fawning over Kev every week when he was still at Villa and it was pretty clear he spent a lot of time watching and admiring us. I think he just likes what he likes and isn't shy about showing his appreciation and I admire that attitude.
