He can’t say much more than it’s done. That's all well and good but what news about Haarland?
The way you’ve spelt Erling’s name makes him sound like a pirate….Jim Lad.

I don't believe anyone, least of all City, ever confirming an offer of $120-$130 million...otherwise, pretty much as I I recall...meaning it wasn't in any way, shape, or form similar to the current dealings with Haaland...this is simply a matter of Haaland agreeing to come to City...everything else is background noise...I recall:
City wanting Kane.
Kane wanting City.
Personal terms agreed.
Levi quoting £160m or fuck off.
City offering to £120-£130m.
Levi saying "Are you deaf? £160m or fuck off!"
City telling Kane it's gonna have to be a transfer request.
Kane not wanting to tarnish his Spurs legacy so not sending the letter.
Transfer window closes.
Kane remains a Spurs player.
City play the 2021/22 season striker-less.
That's my recollection )(
I recall one particular regular forum poster ITK saying it was a done deal. This revisionism I would say is incorrect. I don’t remember the sense of people thinking Kane was ever done. I remember instead months of stories and narratives about Levy not taking calls, not accepting offers, even the ITKs in this forum later on the transfer window saying there disputes about things such as shirt number, contract details etc. We had at least one Spurs fan who joined the forum and wrote a couple of long posts about what their own ITKs were saying. The sense of there being many impediments was present in the media and in this forum, that’s my recollection; what we had was the feeling that he wanted to come and that Pep wanted him. It’s a completely different story now
vital he stays.Nope. Saw quotes last week from him saying wants to stay but will wait until end of season to discuss.

To be honest, none of it was ever confirmed, it was leaked via proxy to the press. So many sources were reporting the exact same details, there must have been summat to it.I don't believe anyone, least of all City, ever confirming an offer of $120-$130 million...otherwise, pretty much as I I recall...meaning it wasn't in any way, shape, or form similar to the current dealings with Haaland...this is simply a matter of Haaland agreeing to come to City...everything else is background noise...
It's called copy & paste mateTo be honest, none of it was ever confirmed, it was leaked via proxy to the press. So many sources were reporting the exact same details, there must have been summat to it.
I think that was his perceptionI recall one particular regular forum poster ITK saying it was a done deal.
I personally saw £120m, £125m & £130m quoted mate, with only slight variations in the other details reported. It's called copy & paste mate
No, I just think Rodders thinks it’s a fancy, pretentious word and he doesn’t quite trust it.I think he means it as a play on words as it is in quotation marks ie unexpected and plays on the left.
