I’d take this Patson Daka from Salzburg. Ings and Silva also come into the equation as cheaper alternatives.

Whilst a striker is overdue, it is worth noting than next year Haaland, Mbappe and Neymar, could all be going at bargain basement prices.

He knows fuck all, City are definitely interested but will go nowhere near the (150-180 mil) figures being touted by Dortmund. If you saw Pep's presser, when he was asked about the 100 mil mark, he said that the club would decide when to take that step in order to improve the squad (basically telling Dortmund they are willing to deal in and around that 100 mil mark).
 
Looking at our accounts today we will have to recoup some money on players going out! Spend wise this summer net wise can’t see it being more than 50/60m unless with ffp being relax we spend a bit more and nowt next summer
 
I'm only going by newspaper reports, but if true, I'm beginning not to like Haaland, as a person that is. With a quarter of the season still remaining, what's he doing, whoring around Europe, with his agent, creating a Dutch auction for his services. His club claim they do not want to sell this season but the lad is showing great disrespect in searching for greener (greenback?) pastures.

Yeah it’s his agent usually way of getting the best price for his client! Doesn’t look good, maybe after pep conference they won’t be doing any more whoring..

sane and munich did city up like a kipper that can not happen again. so take out the greedy agent and the buying club out of the question with a big big buyout clause in it. i would start at £500 million ? but even that could be to low if haaland rips up the premier league with 30 to 40 goals a season

I don't think we can mate, as in the PL doesn't allow it. The only thing I can remember is players being let go for release clauses, ie if we don't make the cl or Jackie doesn't flash her tits 15 times a season then a player can negotiate with another club. The PL doesn't do buy out clauses and personally I'm glad.

You clearly don't understand how release clauses work.

If there's no release clause and you don't want to sell the player you can give him any price you want. A release clause limits that. They have ZERO benefit to the (selling) club. Look at Neymar, Barca gave him an "insane" "hands-off" release clause of €222M. A few years later after the market had continued to inflate, PSG paid it.

There is a very good reason City and almost every top team in Europe DON'T give their top players release clauses.

Sané's transfer would have been completely unaffected by a release clause, unless it was cheaper than what Bayern paid. Contracts will still run down with or without release clauses.

A release clause and a buy out clause are two completely different things mate.

Wouldn't be expected, but also wouldn't be a suprise, the lad still has a lot of ties in London and interests. Butnis this your opinion or something you know.

Prefer to get Kane and keep Sterling personally
