If Chelsea end up signing him then we had every chance of signing him but chose not to for whatever reason.
Depends if he wants to play for City Or not. If he wants to play for Chelsea Tuchel than we don't have a chance. Even if he wants to join us than there always will be financial factor, how much Dortmund demand how much He himself demands how much Alf wants and how much that fat **** wants.
Chelsea will throw some players for potential deal like Abraham or maybe even werner

What if Haaland is a big risk, what if he turns out to be like dembele at barca.
i dont think city should and would waste there time on haaland.

There is absolutely no way he comes here. 1. We wont entertain the circus, and 2.(Some of you wont want to believe this) We simply do not have the money in the current climate to put a deal of over £150m plus a wage package together.

So point 2 rules Kane out then?

And chelsea do?

Four goals and an assist in his last three games against Bayern Munich, the team who had just won the Champions League at a canter and comfortably the best team in his league.

You can carry on like his consistency is a negative, I'm not arsed.

not arsed but keep replying lol.

ok say he comes to Chelsea, how many premier league goals you saying he gets ??

1 may well be true.

2 I honestly doubt there will be any significant, if at all, difference between what it takes to sign Kane and what it costs to get Haaland. whether that is 120m or 150m. plus wages etc. Surely kane as this proven expert guaranteeing success is likely to be on higher wages than the untested kid with some potential in some farmers league

Calling it now and i dont care how miserable it makes me sound...Chelsea get haaland and destroy teams next year, We get kane and his ankles go in the first 5 games.

The way I see this is if we really, really wanted Haaland we would have no issues finding the money. Given how we filed the accounts last year - putting all the losses into that year we could safely sign two big money players in the next accounting period. Especially, as has been reported we reduce numbers in the first team squad further or include players as part exchanges.

It makes sense to me given Pep has two years left with us (hoping for more but have to be realistic) to sign players who are 100% familiar with the PL - if you like less of a risk whilst adding another dimension for CL games - this is where Kane fits the profile perfectly. Look at Werner and Havertz - yes they beat us in Porto but in truth I was one who looked at their signings last summer and really thought Chelsea would be our big hurdle in the chase for the PL. To be honest it wasn't as if they tore us apart in the final more of they worked out a way to stop us. Cant say I look at their players and thought "I wish we had him". Some players take time and I think Pep wants instant effect to the team, less of a project - The way he talked about having players who could walk into the first team kind of confirms this thought process.

I would love it if we signed Kane and Grealish this summer for those reasons, also helps if the ineffectual FA decide to adjust homegrown rules in the future and gives us two ready made starters.

If I am wrong and we do go for Haaland I would also be over the moon - 21 and a big upside but he may take a few months to settle. Either way it's very exciting. I suspect things will move on a pace after the two week holiday Pep mentioned after the final - can't wait to see what happens.
