Erling Haaland

There were a few reports from the Spanish media - that there is no release clause.
Many initial and specific reports about the release clause came from Spain, particularly Marca, by reporters who don’t make this stuff up. The story about not having a release clause came from Jose Pedrerol, who is a clown that hosts a sensationalistic sports tv show that is all about drama and yelling and BOMBAZOS etc (El Chiringuito). He said he heard this from Florentino Perez. That is the so called source of these reports. This is Madrid communicating with their fans that they’re not going to sign him. I have seen they do it many times before. Of course it is a lie. Bayern has done the same a couple of months ago, in leaking to their mouthpieces that they won’t get it done either.

I think Pep is trying to send a message to the board to sign Haaland in January by over exaggerating that Torres will be out for up to three months.
Is this a real account? Haha!
I'm pretty sure that Pep is past the point in his career where he has to send hidden messages to a board that will listen to what he has to say directly and probably move heaven and earth to keep him happy.
If Pep has indicated he wants Haaland then I'm sure we are looking into what it'll take to make it happen.
Subconscious messages during a PC don't seem to be part of his MO.

There is no chance that Haaland is going to move this season to any club.

If you're right, which I suspect isn't the case, then we're idiots.

What kind of club won't pay £150m for Haaland but thinks £100m for Grealish is acceptable?

One is a great, but ultimately one amongst a dozen, creative wide player. The other is a beast five years his junior with the potential to be one of the best strikers ever.

Completely different deals. Haaland would cost north of £150m plus his wages would be a lot more than Grealish’s. His agent will also be asking for a boat load of cash. Haaland was never signing for City this summer just gone, it’s an insane amount of money to pay for someone who’s available for £65m next summer. I haven’t got inside information, but I’m presuming that’s what the club thought.

No need for posts like that.
I wasn't trying to insult him , but his 7 comments so far on this forum seem like he is trolling , I could be wrong.
For example he said Pep is lying about Torres' injury to get the club to buy Haaland in January...

There's nothing about his post history that suggests he's anything other than somebody very excited about the possibility of signing Haaland. His last post was dodgy (and I see he's gone back and deleted it) but nothing to suggest he's deliberately trying cause provocation as opposed to simply being misguided.

We were all new posters once; it's better to give each other a chance to explain ourselves than dive in with accusations.

Dortmund might accept a bigger fee in January but why would that suit Haaland, he either wants to join a certain club or he doesn't?

Whichever club he has his mind set on, he only needs to wait another five months to realise the move and extra cash he can ask for.

My point is City don't need to get involved in an auction if the player decides that's where he is going.

He saves the club £50m and both City and Haaland would use that saving to improve his overall package.

Haaland isn't leaving in January, all common sense dictates.

The player is now in the box seat, not Dortmund, not the buying club.
The benefit to Haaland for leaving in January instead of summer would be if we're on track to win more trophies than Dortmund this season and how important that is to him in the grand scheme of things to add to his resume. Financial side alone yeah not worth it for him, only Dortmund.

No fucking about, time to actually win a transfer over PSG for a change. Every time we've fought for a player, they've won so far. Haaland would be a mega signing.

He can and will move in January if we bid £100M-£130M for him
Dortmund will have some say on that and they will have to sign a replacement at short notice which will be impossible in January. They will bide their time and will cash in the summer.
