ESPN Free for 3 months

rang sky at lunchtime to enquire about getting ESPN the young lady first informed me it was £9 but then she said it was free for 3 months for current sky sports subscribers
if i ring up a month before the deal expires they will cancel it & it will cost me nowt-result

They put me thru to another department, but it took all of 2 minutes.... You have to give a months notice, so if you dont want to keep it and not pay, you will need to cancel it in Sept.... No 12 month contract tho....

They did with this with Setanta...then wouldn't let you cancel.

No matter how many times you rang up to cancel they would offer you a reduced rate on it, which you would still refuse, and then they'd still keep taking the money. I know loads of people who tried to cancel Setanta and it never cancelled of their bill.

Same might apply to ESPN
