Ethernet bridge through electrical cables

Anyone know anything about these? I want to move my XBOX but don't want to pay £50 for a wireless bridge. My mate said there was a thingy that carried the internet signal through the house wiring. Any clues?

You do need an adapter on both ends i believe, dont have that kind of network, although i run xbox wirelessly and works great.
