I stay usually until most have left.......only to be aggressively moved out by stewards saying we have homes to go to you know. No need for the level of aggression.

Whilst trying to get in yesterday the turnstile wasn't responding to my phone....never done it before. Woman behind turnstile starts showing me like I'm a 3 year old how to hold the phone......I said I've been doing this since it started at every single game including all cup games. Cue filthy looks and says ask the steward outside for help. He says type in your phone password then he started watching my password ......at this point I said why are you looking at my phone password. The woman chirps up...he'll not remember that. FFS

So yesterday I was in my seat (east stand upper), about 4 rows from the back.
There must have been around 200 Newcastle fans, now all of them were not adults I would probaly suggest a lot were mid to late teens. But the guy next to me was I'd say early 50s supported Newcastle and he told me as much.
Some even had Newcastle shirts on and as the game went on and at the end it looked like it could kick off as a lot of arguments and hostility built up.
How is this allowed to happen and deprive some of our supporters tickets for important games?
Other clubs don't allow home fans into their stadiums?

I think most match-going fans would recognise that Newcastle (like City) have had good attendances for most of their history. The only dip was in the 80s when crowds collapsed everywhere for well documented reasons (hooliganism, Heysel disgrace, economic collapse, etc etc). I was at St James Park for Paul Gascoigne's debut v QPR when the crowd was about 20,000 but in that era attendances were lower at every club. Best of luck for next season. I would love Newcastle to disrupt the cartel clubs even more.

I was in 220 yesterday, 2 blokes sat 3 seats from me arrived about 10 minutes after kick off, they left there seats 15 minutes later and returned on 57 minutes ( I know it was 57 minutes, I said to my son these pricks are back) they left on 82 minutes, I was fucked off having to keep standing up to let them pass, why do they bother, they contribute nothing to the atmosphere, I know it's there money and they can do what they want but surely you can sit down/stand up for 90 minutes, get your monies worth, why people choose to drink that cats piss on offer at the stadium rather than watching pure poetry football totally baffles me.

Yep where I sit (east stand upper) it's horrific.
I really don't know why some fans bother to come to games, up and down several times.
To be quite frank, I think it's very disrespectful to our great team.

I hate it as well but it has happened as long as I have followed City. It is probably more noticeable in all-seater stadia. Maine Road was terrible for it in the 60s and 70s. The signal was about 10 minutes to go when all the invalid cars departed at once. You could be killed in the crush as the Main Stand moaners scrambled to get out. The score was irrelevant or the size of the crowd. I don't really understand it, perhaps we have a lot of alcoholics in our fanbase!

early leavers have always been there, but not to this level. No where near as many people left when Mancini was in charge. We even sang ‘we’re Man City we stay til the end’ …

people can do what they want, but I couldn’t justify spending all that money on a season ticket to then miss large parts of games, just to get home a bit earlier

My mate stayed until the end, and he had to be up at 5am this morning for his flight back home......to Brisbane!

My lad like me always stays to the end, he was in work at 6.00 today in Oxford.
