Three best city atmosphere experiences of my life; city at Wembley in 99, final moments of 'that match' when Aguero scored and city v Hamburg. Stadium structure wasn't an issue for any of those games.

They do miss opportunities to make it better though. In SS3 you can't hear SS1 hardly at all. SS3 is noisy when it gets going even if only 25% of the people up there Sing. They should have made that the singing section and given first dibs of of cheap seats at the back to singers on SS1. Made it very clear what it is and let them move there. If the back 15 rows or so of that stand were the singers right next to the roof, it would be a much better noise. They missed a trick. They could still so it but it would involve moving the away fans.

If city are going to stick another tier on the north stand don't! make it one kop style end top to bottom safe standing that would definitely bring the atmosphere back and call it the KIPPAX NORTH STAND

I was in 110 back row for Burnley rather than up in 315.

While it was nice to stand without any shit from Showsec and it's the only time I've been in there this season the atmos and singing up in SS3 has been as good or better at every game. I was really surprised how many seats were empty near me and the demographic of the fans there, kids, women etc. I guess the 'pit' has now moved to 115,,,,

Seem to remember zenith and rangers made quite a lot of noise. Also it was rocking for city vs Hamburg. And we have had some good atmospheres in other games vs rags etc since we moved. Its nowt to do with the ground. It's the boring gist that sit in the seats that are the problem.

If the club get together with the a fan group (we could organise it on here) and help move all those who want an atmosphere to the south stand bottom tier. Next to the away fans. The atmosphere will sort itself out. Only needs a few hundred people willing to sing constantly. For it to filter through to the next few and the next few and before you know it - The bell ends standing to attention!

The boring football doesn't help. We've paid to be there, the players are paid to be there. Who should spark the atmosphere off? We should feed off each other but 90 minutes of sideways/safe/backwards passing are never going to help. The best atompshere's at home this season have been started by the obvious cheating of the ref, or when the players turn up and give it a proper go.

And instead of Pep cupping his ear to the fans maybe instead getting the players to pass forwards quickly/run at defenders/shoot/ being aggressive in the tackle etc etc would help the cause.

Well you pay to be entertained so its reasonable to expect some drama,skill and commitment for the best part of 90 minutes. Often our style reminds me of a bullfight where we ponce about in front of the bull for long periods of time.

Unfortunately too often its like watching a game of chess. It may well be very very interesting but its not going to get you on you feet shouting yourself hoarse.

tbh I been reading some other forums and their fans are moaning about the same thing. I dont think this is particular to City, unless we keep highlighting it. And tbh why are we? The press have laid off this now havent they? Is it just us moaning now?
