Sounds like a bit of a 'Stone Henge Spinal Tap' moment...

the pitch is coming up next summer and being lowered 80mm to make the site lines of the new seating work.

with the growing season and time the grounds man wants it leaves Laings 3 to 4 weeks access to the pitch area to take the roof off. Tight!
I know a few lads in the Leve area who could give them useful tips on the 'growing season'.......
That's one way of getting round FFP.

What do you think the groundsmen do with the grow lights when their not in use?

:-)

So the pitch is being lowered by 80 inches then? View from the front row won't be a problem in that case.

Will post tomorrow.

I think expanding the North Stand would be a big mistake at the moment. Another 5 years and go for it then. The demand isn't close to being there under current prices.

They've started to put in the concrete 'steps' to hold the concrete of the new tier now. The bottom of these can be seen inside the stadium and from the outside they go right to the back of the steel structure. You can just about see the bottom of them in this pic:

Details of the proposed branding and sponsorship possibilities for the Bridge, Mini Stadium and Training Campus. Lots of options and the illuminated Club Crests look well lit up at night time.

Am I right in thinking the first games next season will be requested away?

I would think it's a racing certainty that at least the first game is away, they may even ask for 2 aways to start with to give extra contingency if the timescales are as tight as reported.
