If we'd stayed at Maine Road, chances are we'd be worse off than Leeds are now.
You can't cherry pick the good aspects of Maine Road and ignore the bad ones, and the inevitable consequences of staying there.

Let's be honest here. At the end of its time, it was a tip,pure and simple. Yes, for us older blues, there were a lot of good memories in the place. But equally, there were more than a few bad ones as well. It was time to move.

With two weeks until our next game I can see a lot happening between now and then. Both pitchside and 3rd tier.
When do we think the whole structure be completed by? They are doing the roof now, all the stand is in minus the seats, after the roof surely it's just the fixture and fittings?

Might be an idea to take the old roof down ? Maybe we could sell level 3 as restricted view.after yesterday maybe leave the old roof up then you wouldn't have had to watch that shite

certainly a fair crack we wouldnt exist today if we had stayed there, at one point we were a cats whisker of going bust, even if we had wormed a way out of it the player quality would have dropped and we would have been up and down the leagues again, you can only do that so many times until the club can no longer get promoted, we would have been in the doldrums for years without serious investment

Looks really impressive in the flesh. The seats are starting to be put in on the new first 3 rows.

BTW. Can't fault my new camera.

So there's a row of seats under the Nike banner? Cheers JRB, can't see that on TV. Wonder why seats put in? Unless they plan selling them next match? Do we have to have test match for any new capacity though?

The view from the front row will be non existent. Also what rows will they be? Presumably the current row A can't stay as A, unless they call these -A, -B, -C or some even dafter concept.

Incidentally has anyone up in 326 noticed that the aisle that links to 327 has the rows in 326 lettered 2 letters higher than those in 327?

I was up there for the Boro game and it caused chaos as day trippers walked up the aisle to find that the step they were on was row P to the left but row N to the right!

Madness!

Well at least it gives us something to look at while the team are playing as bad as they are.

I wonder if they(City) will allow a Stadium Tour - for fans who are pissed of with the way the team are playing at the mo.
