On BT Sport during the game they announced the official attendance. I forget exactly what they said now, but I recall it was slightly over 53,000. It looked full, apart from a few seats at the front of the Leicester end which might have been the obstructed view seats

Everywhere else quotes the 51k figure

According to the figures above if you include the acadamy is £320million, when the N S is completed and the new glass tunnel and new changing rooms the well over £120 million on the stadium, don't think your West Ham mate has much of an argument compared what they have spent to get that plastic palace. Bear in mind our stadium when converted to football only cost £110 million in total so don't think it will be too long until we buy it off the council unless it suits us to keep the Council happy in the current arrangement with them.

I don't think we will ever buy it, due to the fact a lot of the money will go to Sport England rather than staying with Manchester Council.

It's a win-win for MCC, as they get a guaranteed income each year from us.

It's also de facto our ground. We pretty much call the shots with it these days and the annual rent is peanuts

2 million a year flat fee for the etihad ain't it?

Stop kidding yourselves that liverpool can't fill their stadium by the way
I think it was renegotiated and is circa £3-4m now.
As for the dippers I have no doubt they can fill it mate and more. Just surprised to see it under capacity on Saturday.
