That last photo shows the amazing progress that´s been made - it´s all laid out, in place and ready to build on. I think it will be finished ahead of schedule looking at that

Wow, just wow! It's going to be something else that place. Cannot wait for it to be completed.

Thanks for all the photos and keeping us up to date with the development in this thread, It's really exciting now you can see the new stands and roof for the mini stadium when you pass by on Ashton New Road, it's going up quicker than I thought it would.

Drove by the area tonight and was surprised to see such a change. I went in/out via the family stand last Monday so didn't see any recent changes.

Taken this Afternoon.

Didn't have time to do the whole site.

Stadium looks great. Especially when you leave the Etihad and walk up to it. First few pictures.

Cheers for posting JRB.
Those first couple of pics are a bit of a surprise...the scale of the academy stadium really.

Can I just ask.Does anybody know if they will play youth games on the morning of a premier league game?
Was hoping so as it would be nice to make a full day of it.

Is it still all systems go for the start of dec?

Incredible pictures that begin to give us a real feel for the size of the development and what it will bring to the club.

Well, it will not just be a stadium for the academy and the ladies team, it will house our offices, press centre, accommodations for for youth players etc.. So we need the space

Aye, the broader academy site/campus is enormous, but I was referring to the first couple of pics of the mini stadium - it dominates that view as you head out from the South Stand towards Alan Turing way. I thought it might be set back a little further and lower but nope...you can't miss the blinking thing.
Was the B of the Bang actually 'unsafe' or did the new planners just want it out the way!

I've been wondering if just one undercover pitch will be enough for all the teams, with everyone being on the same site? I would have thought there would have been another one for the sole use of the EDS etc.

Depends whether you consider two ton steel spikes falling on your head unsafe...

Don't forget, that view of the stadium will be obscured by the footbridge.

In essence, you will have a birdseye view of the stadium and training academy from the footbridge.

Shame! :-) click to enlarge.
