Twitter's gone nuclear. I particularly love the Chelsea fans getting pissy over it. Suddenly they see themselves as some moral and prudent football club.

The higher their sponsorships go, it just creates precedent to raise ours.

Have that, Twatini

If this is true it will piss every body off. God I hope it is true Wenger will be incandescent with rage.
The Rag fans will be writing to their MPs about it trying to get it stopped and Platini will be mortified they have failed to stop City.
I bet they wished they had never declared the Etihad deal non related.

This could also make sense of the little pinch statement

I wouldn't say so, the deal includes shirt, training kit and stadium rights.

It's a big fee but for a Premier League team with the exposure the league gets I think that sort of figure will become standard for a top team nowadays.

Hehe there is something hilarious about Chelsea fans complaining about other clubs spending.

Excellent news, if carlsberg did football owners they would be like ours.

A re-negotiation of our Nike deal should also be forth coming soon currently £12m per year hopefully double that since the rags and the arse left them.
