EU referendum deal (title edited)

I don't think 4 months is long enough for us average joes to get our head around both sides of the arguement for in or out, both sides will be putting out false info,it'll be terrible if we make the wrong choice

Do you think your life will change at all either way ?

That's why I'm not too concerned whatever outcome. I don't believe it will change our nation or the world. And with both leaders of our two biggest parties plus the biggest buisness leaders in support of staying in. I can't see the out vote winning.

The EU is no different from FIFA and UEFA they all hate us and only want us in to get what ever they can out of us whilst giving nothing back.

You only have to watch the Eurovision Song Contest to see what the rest of Europe thinks of us.

Definitely OUT for me.

I was saving this argument until things got bad; you have nowhere to go now you have gone this early with the big guns.
Eurovision land hates us so fuck'em vote out

It's an easy choice Karen.

Do you want to be responsible for your own future good or bad? or would you prefer to leave that to people who think they know better but who are not answerable to you?

Do you want to subsidise Europe to the tune of 10 billion pounds a year, or do you have any ideas on where that money could be spent here?

See you both make it sound a simple choice when it is clearly not, that much i do understand

I don't know if it will change or not but i'm going to listening very carefully to both sides before deciding

How did the UK MEPs vote?

We get less out because we are economically more productive. Our reward is to subsidise those who are not.

He doesn't say that. He say's we would be free to regulate as we feel fit.

What happened before does not cancel what happened next!

This is nonsense. Nato is the defensive organisation. The wars we have seen since the formation of Nato have almost all been disunited countries breaking up to their original cultural groups and the EU has has no part in their prevention. The EU has NOTHING to do with defence.

So are Germany not the most powerful economy in Europe and committed EU members?

Regarding the role of the EU in peace time Europe. Have you heard of the phrase that; "The pen is oftern mightier than the sword".

I can t recall how the English MEPs voted but they have differed according to political groupings.

Free to regulate as we see fit is likely to see a worsening employment rights for most workers.

Regarding slavery, this is a piss poor area to take credit for.

I would agree, mostly. I don't think life will change either way. Immigration, for example, will still persist at levels that many euro-sceptics are uncomfortable with.

Broadly I think its a horrible time to have to have a referendum, the uncertainty it brings could be damaging if the global economy suffers over the medium term.

For senior politicians, Europe is a pension fund
Think along the lines of top footballers playing their last footballing days in America

This whole referendum seems pretty miserable to me. I'd say a majority of people have already made their mind up and if presented with evidence that counters their worldview, it is dismissed unequivocally. This effectively renders any discussion completely moot. But, I don't think most want the information, they want the information that suits their existing viewpoint, rather than frame view point based upon information. It feels a bit like the 9/11 truthers; very steadfast in their resolve.

My gut tells me that the the government know that economically, we are probably all in for a bit of a rougher time than the previous few years. The referendum being in June is an attempt to take further volatility and risk out of the equation.

But, broadly, I don't expect things to change a great deal. The world has been moving towards regional trading and political union for some time now, I don't expect that to change.
