EU referendum deal (title edited)

You would be forgiven for thinking Murdoch wants us to stay in given the way his Sky presenters are questioning any one who wants out and basically calling them liars as they make their points.

One thing is for sure London runs Britain for the interests of London but Brussells doesn't run Europe for the interests of Brussells.

Whatever Britain does it will be two groups with the interests of the south east and some large multinationals competing against each other for their interests and people over the country will jump on one side based on arguments that have absolutely nothing to do with what is good for them their families or their communities.

top post, in so many ways this country is horribly in the grip of london.
Neither party has tried to correct it, or even sees it as a problem.
Any govnt could save millions by moving ministrys out of the metropolis with it's ludicrous property prices and rents.
Wont happen of course, instead we get glib soundbites like "the northern powerhouse" ( arf ) while london gets the biggest engineering project in Europe ,the Crossrail link.
The in/out debate is hardening into a left/right arguement with the right very much vociferous for leaving. Their current battlecry is "self-determination" english laws for the english. Well, I dont recall ever
having a vote on any law, and for those who say we can vote out the party
that enacts these laws, name one that has been repealed
By June the anti brussels and immigration arguements will have been superceded by the real reason for the right-wingers to want out , which is to abandon the rules that protect what little is left of workers rights.
Unfortunately, there is no centre-left media to hold the outers to account, to explain what the future holds for most people when ruled by a party completely in the pocket of the rich and powerful with noone to rein in their greed.

I have heard this statement that London runs Britain for the interests of London.

So please anyone tell me , what interests do the bureaucrats in Brussels run the EU for?

What would be the ultimate possible turning point for each side in the next few months to swing the vote their way?

i.e. would a Paris style terrorist attack in London by Syrian migrants be a massive swing for either side?
