I think Mings is being overhyped, he’s a decent player but this was a very average Bulgaria side. Let’s see how he does this season, I hope the lad does well, he seems a likeable lad.
I think he's a better partner for Stones than the rest of them, based on his Villa performances. He's a big unit like Maguire, but he's also quick, unlike slabhead, and he's got a nice combination of pragmatic, defend first mentality but decent ability on the ball.
You can see him telling Stones when he's fucking about too much, and he's not going to try and beat 3 men in his own half before losing it like Maguire.
