Euro U21 Final | England beat Spain

Pff .... The guy had been an asshole all game. How he wasn't sent off is a mystery. Then he lies on the floor for two minutes looking for a penalty and when he gets it, what do you think, he gets up to take it. If you are an asshole, you should expect it back.

It didn't look great taking that incident in isolation, but you probably needed to have watched the previous 97 mins to get a feel for the game and the emotions/adrenaline.

Its also my opinion that its about time we gave a bit of cuntiness/shithousery back,it may well be a reason we won and that we will continue to perform better in the future.
I'd been watching the cricket, so only got to see the tail end of the game. I did say in my earlier post that I was unaware of what might have gone on during the game that would have led the English lads to give it the big 'un towards Ruiz. So I can't comment on what he, and his team mates, were up to during the match. The Spaniards can be experts at the dark arts, though. So nothing would surprise me.

I didnt watch the game so haven’t seen Palmer’s celebration. I just read Sergio Gomez’s comments on the BBC website.

It’s going to be interesting when they both report back for training. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of camaraderie there.

Have you got a link to it?

Edit. Ignore

That’s nonsense. Acting like a dick because things didn’t go your way demonstrates someone who’s a dick and that’s all. Plenty of losers have lost gracefully then come back to win in all sports. And even if they don’t they earn respect.

I was very impressed with Harwood-Bellis in this tournament it would be a shame if he is loaned out this coming season by City. Good enough to hold a place in the squad.

As much as I know we have a good selection of CB’s to choose from Harwood-Bellis has done everything an academy player can expect to do to be given the opportunity.

Bring THB in for Stones CB berth and Stones can take Phillips place in DM which he already is and Phillips can be moved on. £40m towards Gvardiol along with Laporte £30m.

I agree with most of what you’ve said. Bellis has been brilliant this tournament and last season for Burnley. He’s genuinely one of the best young centre backs in England right now. I’d give him a chance. Depends on who we sign as well.

Stones is a centre back though and drops back from midfield most of the time. So he wouldn’t be replacing him

Yea with that injurie he should never have taken the penalty, I mean that broken foot must have been hurting alot. No wonder Trafford saved it ;)
