If I recall, we were linked pretty closely to him. At one point then, I was convinced we were getting him. There were however quite a few players Bobby wanted that the board failed to fulfill - De Rossi comes to mind.

Total lack of respect and basic manners but even worse that it seemed to have been agreed between the majority of the players to do it as soon as it was put round their necks.

Like diving, it’s clearly something they rehearsed and decided prior to the game. Total lack of class, respect and sportsmanship but that’s only to be expected from that lot

I'm not sure if Cavani was that window, might've been the window we got Aguero to supposedly replace Tevez. But De Rossi's one is. IIRC Mancini wanted De Rossi and Alessio Cerci(?), the board got him Scott Sinclair and Fernando.

Ref this lot fairly and their fucked

Even last night I thought the officials were soft with them, just they did not have their customary penalty of the week. They dived and ref bought it every time, no replays or lines for their goal, only 2 cards for numerous fouls ( think over 15) and penalty near the end for Villarreal not given despite a handball and we know it’s given at the other end.

Then you had Penandez moaning constantly at the officials ( no card for dissent of course), Paperboy moaning VR scored with their only shot on target despite the rags only having 2 inc their usual jammy rebound for their goal and the lack of class during the losers medal presentation
