Not often Simon Stone is worth quotimg but here goes.

But amidst all the swirl of media that's been around the club and the ownership over the last few weeks, the eyes will be on the owners now to see whether they can deliver the funds and the players that Solskjaer and United need to truly be competing because although winning the Europa League would have been good, United were only in the Europa League because they weren't good enough to stay in the Champions League and that's not good really enough.
Rags and Glazers have spent 1.156 BILLION in transfer fees since last winning the league

Like diving, it’s clearly something they rehearsed and decided prior to the game. Total lack of class, respect and sportsmanship but that’s only to be expected from that lot
I don't suppose any one from the media has pulled them up for showing up this country in front of a world wide audience. Perhaps saying kids everywhere will copy this bad behaviour.
That's just reminded me of a City mascot proud as punch shaking hands with the players before the Kick off against a Midlands team. A little rat pulled his hand away refusing to shake.
I suspect the nasty little get might have been from the team who had toddlers waving toy snakes at Delph.

For an old man with a health problem he makes a lot of long journeys to be just a 'spectator' at matches that are on TV. He was probably in breach of Covid restrictions in so doing.
I am sure his wife must worry a lot when he does this but he seems to have little regard.
He can't keep away: I believe he considers the club to be his family, the staff are his relatives. When he's there he is treated like a god, he is the lord of all he surveys - even the current manager won't park his car in the space vacated by 'he who must be obeyed'.
Away from the swamp he's an old man with a serious health issue and a long long history of alcohol abuse.

I believe he is a very sad and lonely man: nothing to look forward too except the oblivion that alcohol affords him.
Anyone else and I would feel a twinge of pity for them, but not this man. Never ever this man. He is a foul-mouthed, arrogant autocrat who has spent nearly all of his life issuing verbal abuse and threatening physical violence to anyone whose opinion differed to his. A man who for over 30 years 'persuaded' Premier league officials to not see things he didn't want them to, a man who bullied other football managers into taking back any players they might have had on loan at a club where his son had been dismissed, the same son who allegedly -in a drunken rage- beat his girlfriend so violently she was very nearly paralysed from the waist down and would have had to spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair had it not been for the efficiency of the paramedics (it was later claimed that the Pisscan and a rag lawyer did their level best to impede the progress of the ambulance while they destroyed any evidence that could have been used against Pisscan junior).

He might be revered within the confines of a football club, but outside of it he is universally loathed - and that is why he can't keep away.

This showed how they flattered this season.
they've only been separated from draws and losses by some of the most dubious decision making this season. Gifted a 2nd place finish and were gash in Europe all over. The ref was generous to them last night and they still got turned over.
The only team in history to be awarded a penalty after the final whistle should tell you all you need to know about the help theyve had this season

If I recall, we were linked pretty closely to him. At one point then, I was convinced we were getting him. There were however quite a few players Bobby wanted that the board failed to fulfill - De Rossi comes to mind.
RM - We need this list of players to stay ahead of the game, stamp out the threat from Old Scaffold and progress in Europe. It will also allow us to seamlessly switch to 3 at the back (slides piece of folded paper containing names such as De Rossi across the table to Brian Marwood et al).

Et al - no problem Bobby Manc, We've got you covered.

* The look on Mancini's face when they announced the signings of Maicon (who was the RB he was after at the time again?), Rodwell and Scott Sinclair must have been picture...........
